Stayed for the Mississippi Blues Half Marathon and this was close to the start/finish line. Hotel had easy check in process and helpful staff. Valet was $20 a night. Hotel room was well lit and had exceedingly comfortable bed. One issue was instead of a fridge which is more and more becoming common, they had a mini bar. IMO, this isn’t a helpful amenity and often the items are absurdly priced. I would much rather have a fridge. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. Check out was at noon. Hotel location was well located to get to the Art Museum and the state capitol. I did walk to a restaurant at night and was a little worried about that, there wasn’t a ton close by and the one I chose (Iron Horse Grill) was a little bit of a sketchy walk.

You can't go wrong at West Restaurant and Lounge. It's safe, the atmosphere is grown folk and very welcoming, the music and everything is 100!! But the food is definitely worth everything! Seasoned to perfection, the different menu selections. It gives home cooking. Will definitely be back!

West Lounge is the best adult Place anybody could go to I couldn't have found a more peaceful and relaxing place to go to the food was excellent I mean simply superb and the people the people was so pleasant and so kind-hearted will I come back again you better bet your bottom dollar I will and can't wait until my next visit which will be very soon
